My experience On My OJT

On-the-job training, or OJT is a time efficient and cost-effective method of training and developing employees, utilizing a company's internal resources, knowledge, and talent. It is usually the principal method used for up skilling employees, increasing production, and improving efficiency.

The Sangguniang Bayan (SB) ( lit. 'municipal council') is the local legislative branch of the municipal governments in the Philippines. It is responsible for passing ordinances and resolutions for the administration of a municipality. Its powers are defined by the Local Government Code, passed by Congress in 1991.

   FEBRUARY.22.2023 the 1st day of our ON JOB TRAINING AT SANGGUNIANG BAYAN,

    SARA ILOILO 

Hello I'm Restituto Bañaria a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology student at Northern Iloilo State University (NISU LEMERY CAMPUS) I started my On The Job Training ( OJT) at Sangguniang Bayan Sara Iloilo at first Ma'am Emily Punay asked me what department we're i want to work . So I choose Sangguniang Bayan Sara, Iloilo . Hon. Jon Onick Aying was welcome graciously and he give us knowledge for being a trainee.He is kind humble and approachable Mayor I ever known.In this day it's my first day of meeting mayor Jon Onick Aying,We introduce our selves to mayor Jon Onick Aying. He orient us what is the regulations of municipal of Sara and advice us what we gonna do.

In my 1st day of being an On Job Trainee , at first I feel so nervous and exited as well because it was hard for me to interact with them come to think of it, they were 

Professional and I'm just student nervous and shyness are normal to feel for the first timer .I don't know what I'm going to do because it's changing a bit. Before , I only think about going and coming back to school but now I'm thinking about what will I do in my OJT. Interview for members of cash for work..

In this picture ma'am Emily Punay she assigned me in Sanguniang Bayan Office, I'd to incode the schedule of all sports League of Sara, I'm thankful here because my mentors is kind and approachable that's why I learned a lot and we also learned how to seal notary the documents papers of municipal workers.

I have also realized that learnings from school is far from real life work place environment. The goal of OJT is to provide instruction and practice opportunity so that the inexperienced learner can develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to perform the job tasks associated with his or her job role. So far all I can say is “New knowledge and Experience is the fruit of our Labor”.
